Suntrust Verona By Suntrust

Named after a famous artistic town in northern Italy where the Shakespeare classic novel Romeo and Juliet was set, The Verona is one of Suntrust Properties, Inc.’s (SPI) most luxurious, but reasonably price, house and lot property development in this part of Cavite. Found within the Silang-Sta. Rosa boundary, The Verona is situated along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Brgy. Pook, Silang, Cavite. The view here is spectacular, where you can have a panoramic view of Tagaytay on the south and Mt. Makiling on the east.

The project is inspired by the famous Juliet’s Wall in Verona Courtyard, where love letters and messages of love are tucked by sweethearts and tourists visiting the site. A 2-hectare replica of the said wall is built in the project’s entrance gate housing the Casa de Giullieta as the site’s Sales Office mimicking Juliet’s home in Verona. Spread throughout a 62-hectare of mostly rolling terrain and the highlands of Silang, the development project is truly a work of art and nature. This kind of setting heals and relaxes the mind and where nature is at its best!

The development offers Italian-inspired Single-Detached and Duplex, 2-Storey homes with sizes ranging from 93 to 166sqm of floor area. The houses are designed and built by SPI’s battalion of responsible and highly-skilled workforce ensuring safe and sound homes that can last for generations. On the grounds, the finest amenities are laid down to have a resort-like environment unequalled by other similar developments in the area. Such amenities are swimming pool, basketball court, hiking and jogging trail, Italian-themed Nature Park and bridge way, clubhouse, majestic clock tower and lush green gardens, among others.

The best schools and universities are also around the site’s immediate vicinity such as De La Salle Canlubang, AUP, PNP Academy, Ateneo Graduate School, Don Bosco College and others. Hospitals the like of Southern Luzon Medical Center, Fort Med and the New Sinai Hospital are close by and reachable through well-paved roads within minutes in case of emergencies. The industrial parks are way too near the site where chances and opportunities for uplifting career are enormous, consider them: Laguna Techno Park, Coca Cola, Ford Motors and National Panasonic, among others. Your everyday needs need not be too far as the likes of Walter Mart, SM Sta. Rosa, Robinson’s Mall and Super 8 Supermarket and other commercial centers are just minutes away.

Just like its namesake in Italy, The Verona is truly nice and a cost effective alternative!

Quite literally, a breath of fresh air greets you once you have entered the uniquely quaint sprawl that is Suntrust Verona. Never mind the commercially branded name for now, this estate, just a couple of hours drive outside one of the busiest and most congested areas of Southeast Asia, lives up to being named after the developer’s inspiration. The Verona estate is safely distanced from noise, pollution and heavy transport networks.

No less than three Italian villa or country style themes have been used to christen this surprise addition to the Tagaytay communal landscape. A distinct departure from uniformity is evident in the creation of these themes.

A sunny disposition

They have been christened as Fiorenza, Gisella and Mariella. Within the communal development, the Casa de Giulietta takes prominence. Translation of these thematic developments is necessary. Casa de Giulietta represents the House of Juliet while Mariella refers to the beloved. Gisella stands for a pledge and Fiorenza is for blossoming.

Alongside of these residential and communal developments are added exterior amenities to fill out the experience of living within spacious suburbia as close to nature as possible. Suntrust, also known to investors as SPI, is a subsidiary of the Philippine’s leading property and real estate developers, Megaworld.

Classic Italian architectural design always inspires

The nice thing about all three of these themes; Gisella, Mariella and Fiorenza, is that the architectural presentations are all quite different. Go down any street of this residential village and drive through it slowly. You will notice that as you pass by each free standing house with its own vast grounds that no one unit, next to each other, looks the same.

It lends something of a unique appeal and allows each residential unit owner the opportunity to show a bit of the old streak of independence. No matter which developed suburban area in the world you go to, it has, in the past, been the unfortunate case that housing complexes developed are far too uniform. That attitude, having come and gone, is a little too impersonal and not conducive to community or family living.

Standard Italian flair all the way through

That it is no longer the case in Tagaytay’s Verona is something of a chip off the old Italian architectural block. Still to this day, Italians are renowned for their garrulous nature and their willingness to socialize with their neighbors. Coincidentally and encouragingly, it is no less the case for the Filipinos. The suburban environment is also a pleasing departure from congested urban spaces in the sense that the latter environment has resultantly made it more difficult for folks to slow down, rest easy and actually talk to one another as true brothers and sisters.

Not yet home, just take a glance at what you can look forward to in Suntrust Verona. This Verona’s pivotal clock tower is your greeting and navigation point. Central to this village is a clubhouse, serving as an ideal gathering point for community inspired events. A swimming pool is standing by for hot summer nights and days. There is no need to venture far from your village to go shopping when all you need do is stop by local shops. And what is nice about this is that it lends something of the country life atmosphere.

Speaking of the country, and you need not venture far to do this, you can commune directly with nature by crossing bridges, transgressing a hiking trail and visiting a nature themed park.

Suntrust Verona - Location & Vicinity

Suntrust Verona is located at Brgy.Pook, Silang Cavite. About 10 Minutes from Tagaytay.

Just for the record, the Suntrust Verona suburban residential property development is located directly along both Silang and Tagaytay Roads. By the clock, Verona’s residents are no more than ten minutes drive from all outside amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, schools and churches.

Significantly, residents will also be in close proximity to their work place. They are close to Tagaytay’s industrial and commercial nodes. Living in Verona, and working not too far from home, residents will essentially be active members/citizens of the Silang Municipality. While Suntrust Verona residents are blissfully ensconced in their Italian themed suburb, they have every lifestyle amenity they would normally take for granted in a heavily congested urban environment.

Not much of a distance to everything

Three prominent schools in the name of AUP, Canlubang and Dela Salle are within a few minutes driving distance. Along the way are all the usual conveniences to do with monthly shopping excursions and end of week meanderings at malls and dining at restaurants. The residents of Suntrust Verona can enjoy these amenities on the way home from work if they so choose. Tagaytay’s major commercial and industrial centers are close enough as it is.

Commercial shopping hives include the Paseo de Sta Rosa, Waltermart, the Target Mall and Robinsons Market. Shopping just for gourmet meals for the weekend, the residents of Verona can shop at the Super 8 Supermarket before heading off for home. By Monday morning it is time for work again, and so they join the queue to enter the main industrial zones. It is here that the Laguna Technopark is prominent.

Motor industry behemoths in the form of Ford Motors and Toyota Motors are here as well. National Panasonic and Coca-cola also have their facilities here.

Silang is a landlocked strip within the Philippines archipelago. In lieu of work relocations and job opportunities, it is worthwhile noting that it is here that the country’s national police academy is located. The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction also has its offices here. Plans are afoot for Silang’s commercial expansion to continue southward until it is linked with Lipa City.

The original inhabitants were Bornean, and it was long before the first Spanish settlers arrived.  On conquest, Silang land was transferred to one Diego de Villalobos. His ownership extended to land which today includes the towns of Amadeo, Alfonso, Carmona and Tanza.

Getting out and about

Good road networks surround the Silang municipality. As this article closes its invitational introduction to Verona, some impressions will be left on communal farming. For the time being, the region’s strong road networks have contributed towards the region’s potential to be developed still further as a major trading node for agricultural products. Also remarked upon later, is Silang and its environs pleasing climate.

To add credence to this is that the municipality is not encountering any major traffic flow and pollution problems at this stage. And it takes a mere two hours, even by the traditional jeepney, to reach your Verona villa from Manila.

Places to visit

After all the hard work is done for the week, the groceries are packed away and everyone has had enough to eat, there is still more that Verona’s residents can do with themselves over weekends. Sunday is traditionally the day of prayer and worship for millions of Filipino Catholics, a heritage they share with utmost devotion with the Spaniards and Italians.

Silang has one historic church in the name of Our Lady of Candelaria to visit. It dates back all the way to the sixteenth century. After the Cabag Caves have been taken in, family folks can pop in to the Gourmet Farms along the Aguinaldo Highway.

Suntrust Verona - Features & Amenities

Here is a breakfast wrap of what prospective buyers of a house in Verona can expect. Or could it be a family gathering after a family dinner? Nevertheless, the main feature of this location is that it remains remote from congested urban city environments but never far from all the usual amenities of life and work.  It also needs to be highlighted, once more, that new residents will have plenty to do within the confines of their communal theme park, as it were, without ever having to leave for elsewhere.

And each stylish house, with its chosen theme (as highlighted earlier) has oodles of living space perfect for the modern working family.  A singular characteristic of the modern family is that each individual, from the youngest to the patriarch, must have his or her own private space. This is something that the developer and its team of architects focused on throughout.

The great outdoors, all at home

We have already mentioned that this lovely village has its own clubhouse, swimming pool and shops. Perhaps we did not mentioned that youngsters and their young at heart counterparts can have a go at the local basketball court, instead of heading off into the hills along the hiking trail. What we also did not mention previously is that the nature park has been emphatically themed to the Italian cultural life.

The modern family home

One, two, and three - A typical three bed-roomed home on two storeys has a sprawling veranda. Down below, the carport has been fitted with its own ceramic tiles. But this structure only has one bathroom and toilet.

But wait, there is four – Ah, now that’s more like it, is what some prospective buyers will be saying after leaving this town’s sales office. Those who need the extra space have a four bed-roomed home to turn to. It includes a family area. Mothers and fathers have the use of the master bed room, while the entire estate has three bathrooms. And if that was not enough, this home has two, not one, verandas.
